RIMA

RIMA

Crafted by Tiana Nonosina Liufau

RIMA, a Polynesian movement-based collection of short stories, showcases life through music and movement. Featuring acoustic soundscapes ranging from Polynesian melodies to contemporary R&B rhythms, it captures the essence of cultural expression.

According to Tiana, the fusion of movement and music mirrors her upbringing, blending island life with Southern California culture. With Polynesian heritage and American citizenship, RIMA provides insight into Tiana's creative process and personal expression. Hands become storytellers, conveying emotions that words cannot articulate. They symbolize shared cultural experiences and hold the essence of Polynesian mana.

Tiana invites audiences to join the celebration of unity and sharing through RIMA. With her vibrant cast, she encourages experiencing, celebrating, connecting, and embracing a universal spirit of togetherness.
