<grove:bio>This spring, two of the biggest acts in the underground will come together to wreak havoc at City National Grove of Anaheim on May 23 for one of this year's hottest tours. This year the stars have come into alignment as Psychopathic Records' Twiztid and Suburban Noize weed smokers the Kottonmouth Kings will unite for the Kaos and Kronik Tour with special guests Blaze and Big B. "Kaos and Kronik" brings together two of the biggest forces in underground music for one of the most heavily anticipated tour packages in years.

"The 'Kaos and Kronik' tour will be an underground classic and everyone is already bubbling with excitement. Psychopathic Records and Suburban Noize have been allies in the underground for a decade, but this is the first time Kottonmouth Kings and Twiztid have come together on a national tour," says Brad X. "We asked Big B and Blaze to join us on this tour to help bring the thunder and ensure every show is pure insanity. Together we will be bringing 'Kaos and Kronik' to a city near you!"

"This tour has been 10 years in the making. Come out and witness history as two of America's biggest indie acts bring the Kaos and Kronik," said Monoxide of Twiztid.

California's reigning rip-hop originators, Kottonmouth Kings have long been a cornerstone of one of today's most radical music movements. Combining mind-bending sonics, and fusing hip-hop, punk rock, and classic soul, The Kings have innovated and pioneered a unique signature sound that has set them apart from the pack and has fueled the band's longevity and enduring popularity with a diverse international fan base. Kottonmouth Kings have proved their lasting staying power, building on a powerful DIY ethos and redefining the meaning of a self-empowered group by running their own company, touring and releasing albums on their own terms. Kottonmouth Kings will unleash their thirteenth studio album, "Mile High Club", later this summer via the group's own Suburban Noize Records.

Where most rappers celebrate the urban lifestyle with the same old themes and images, Twiztid peels away the gloss and exposes the innards. The demented duo, Monoxide and Jamie Madrox, take the hard edge of theatrical rock-and-roll and temper it with gritty hip-hop to create a musical monstrosity so dangerously real it must be hidden with face paint! These two aren't casual gangsters, but rather, they have painted personas that allow them to explore the darkest corners of the human psyche, from superhero fantasies to horror film legacies. With their ruthless raps, most recently heard on "Heartbroken and Homicidal", the duo may explore every recess of their audience's experiences, every sentimental reflection, and every sinister urge. By becoming something unreal, Monoxide and Jamie Madrox are free to be real. Whether it's on-stage devastation, or home stereo infiltration, Twiztid's music will take you somewhere you've never been before. The scariest part is when you don't want to come back...</grove:bio>

<grove:bio>(Hed)p.e. and Mushroomhead have announced they will join forces with American Head Charge, Corvus, and Tenafly Viper for the "Hed2Head" co-headlining tour. The tour will make a stop at City National Grove of Anaheim on May 30, and run for six week across the entire country.

"2012 is here and (Hed)p.e has a new set and a new attitude that we are stoked to unleash on the third annual Hed2Head tour," commented Jahred. "Hed2Head has turned out to be our favorite and biggest tour of the year, and we have become close friends with Jeffrey Nothing and the guys in Mushroomhead. This year we are trying to include even more markets, so fans can catch this tour. I can't wait to get out there and start tearing stages up!"

"It's amazing what you can accomplish when it doesn't matter who gets all the credit. The strength of this wolf is in the pack," commented Skinny from Mushroomhead. "We've toured with (Hed)p.e. a couple times and each time the shows get bigger and better. Both bands put on an explosive live show and we're constantly pushing each other to make the show even more insane to make it the best possible ticket for the fans hard earned money."

"We're stoked to be hitting the road with Mushroomhead and (Hed)p.e. on this tour," added American Head Charge bassist Chad Hanks. "We've been away for a while and this tour is the perfect way for us to get back in front of many of our hardcore fans and it gives us a chance to make new fans along the way."

(Hed)p.e are touring in support of their eighth studio album "Truth Rising", which saw the group become the voice for a movement that empowers youth and reveals the seedy underbelly of our current political affairs. (Hed)p.e's video for the track "It's All Over" can be seen online at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DKZ5T_65CJsandfeature=channel_video_title. (Hed)p.e are currently working on a new studio album for release in late 2012.

Mushroomhead are touring in support of their brand new seventh studio album "Beautiful Stories For Ugly Children". As one of the leaders of the alterna-metal movement, the band's extreme performance style has garnered them an enormously devoted cult following and its cornucopian sound -- a forceful yet melodic, underground yet accessible merging of hard rock, heavy metal, hardcore punk, industrial and soundtrack-worthy ambience has seen it move upwards of one million albums worldwide. <grove:bio>Rhapsody Of Fire finally returns to North America with their headlining tour in support of their latest release From Chaos To Eternity, and will make a stop at City National Grove of Anaheim on Friday, June 15.

"American and Canadian Rhapsody Of Fire fans have been waiting a long time for our return to North America. We've heard your demands and now it's finally a reality! Rhapsody Of Fire is stronger than ever and ready to bring to you the longest, biggest and best show we've ever done in the band's 15+ years history. We're also giving fans the opportunity to spend an incredible amount of personal time with us face-to-face in order to bring us very close to our fans in a very personal and meaningful way", says Alex Staropoli.

In 1997, they attained with their debut Legendary Tales what only the fewest rock bands can claim. The original members of Rhapsody Of Fire, Luca Turilli, Fabio Lione and Alex Staropli fabricated their own genre: "Hollywood Metal" or "Film Score Metal," based on their epic power metal along with parts of classicism and film music but with folkloric touches, too, you can't allocate their music to an already established category.

Around the turn of the millennium the typical aggressive metal took centre stage with albums like Dawn Of Victory, Rain Of A Thousand Flames, Power Of The Dragonflame, while since 2004 specially on releases of the albums Symphony Of Enchanted Lands II: The Dark Secret and Triumph Or Agony epic elements stood in the focus and became their provisional peak in the orchestral The Frozen Tears Of Angels. In spite of the certainty that the moment of the former production of the year 2010 was deployed to work on From Chaos To Eternity without a break, a return to traditional and more rocking virtues set in, though the self-created musical stamping ground wasn't disregarded for a second.

After 15 years of amity, drudgery and big ferventness, a lot of energy spent on the creation of symphonic music and an epic saga which will be preserved in the history of heavy metal, Alex Staropoli and Luca Turilli resolved to a friendly breakup. It was resolved that Alex Staropoli will still remain with Rhapsody Of Fire having Fabio Lione, Tom Hess, Alex Holzwarth, Alex' brother Oliver Holzwarth and the guitarist Roberto De Micheli.</grove:bio>

<grove:bio>Grammy Award winning, singer-songwriter and guitarist, Kenny Loggins will perform at City National Grove of Anaheim with special guest Blue Sky Riders on June 20.

By any standard, Loggins' commercial impact has been extraordinary; twelve of his albums have gone platinum and beyond. In a world of one hit wonders and fifteen minute sensations, Loggins has enjoyed hit songs in four straight decades -- a remarkable testament to his exceptional craftsmanship and stamina. Through it all, Kenny Loggins has earned the faith of those who've followed him along the way. To this day, Loggins continues to write and record at the height of his powers as a singer and a songwriter. This is something that Loggins proves every time he takes the stage to sing his soulful songs straight from the heart.

Known for hits such as "Whenever I Call You Friend" with Stevie Nicks, "This Is It," and "Don't Fight It" with Steve Perry, Loggins achieved solo stardom early on. However in the 80s, Loggins became even more famous and the king of the movie theme songs thanks to massive smashes like "I'm Alright" (from Caddyshack), "Footloose" (from Footloose), "Danger Zone" (from Top Gun), and "Nobody's Fool" (from Caddyshack II). Loggins also continued to record albums that were introspective and deeply personal, including 1985's Vox Humana, 1988's Back to Avalon, 1991's Leap of Faith (featuring "Conviction of the Heart," a song Al Gore called "the unofficial anthem of the environmental movement"), The Unimaginable Life (1997) and 2003's It's About Time. During this same period, Loggins continued to take on new challenges like recording a Christmas album (1998's December) and two successful and acclaimed CDs for children: 1994's radiant Return To Pooh Corner and its worthy follow-up, More Songs From Pooh Corner.

With Loggins' latest musical venture, Blue Sky Riders, he joins one of Nashville's most accomplished writers Gary Burr, and renowned singer-songwriter Georgia Middleman. Near the end of the Qandamp;A, Phillips was asked if any contemporary recording artists grabbed his attention. His response blew Chris away. andldquo;I don't keep up with the business like I used to,andrdquo; said Phillips, andldquo;but I love to listen to Chris Isaak. Since he fell in love with his parentsandrsquo; 45s as a child, this passionate writer/artist has been obsessed with the glory days of Memphisandrsquo; Sun Studio and the visionary artists who got their starts there-including Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, Roy Orbison, Carl Perkins and Jerry Lee Lewis-all of them discovered and nurtured by Sam Phillips. Now, at long last, Isaak recaptures the brilliance of Sun Studio, and beyond, by paying tribute to the roots of Rock andlsquo;nandrsquo; Roll with renditions of classics, plus new, original self-penned tunes.

Produced by Isaak, Beyond the Sun was recorded mostly at the historic Sun Studio in Memphis with his longtime band-bass player Rowland Salley and drummer Kenney Dale Johnson, whoandrsquo;ve been with him from the start, guitarist Hershel Yatovitz, pianist Scott Plunkett and percussionist Rafael Padilla. The album also features a guest performance by the Memphis legend, andlsquo;Cowboyandrsquo; Jack Clement.

Chris Isaak is a Grammy nominated singer-songwriter, musician, actor and talk show host with a career spanning over twenty five years.andnbsp; His iconic vocal style has garnered enormous acclaim and his songs have been featured in numerous films and television shows.andnbsp; Isaak has more than a dozen acting credits including such films as andldquo; The Informers, andrdquo; and andldquo;A Dirty Shame.andrdquo; He has also starred in Showtimeandrsquo;s The Chris Isaak Show and the Biography Channel in The Chris Isaak Hour.

Throughout his impressive recording career -- right from his stunning 1985 debut to this latest stellar effort -- Chris Isaak has tunefully and artfully explored the good, the bad and the ugly of love, as well as other matters of profound human interest. During that same year, Luther and his wifewelcomed a daughter into the world. Jim had always told Cody and Luther, andldquo;You need to be playing music together. <grove:bio>Keith Richards of the Rolling Stones once said, andquot;If you don't know the blues... there's no point in picking up the guitar and playing rock and roll or any other form of popular music.andquot;

On August 4, the Rock'n'Blues Fest will stop at City National Grove of Anaheim featuring five well-known players who were initially inspired to pick up their instruments due to their love for rock and blues: Johnny Winter, Edgar Winter, Rick Derringer, Leslie West and Kim Simmonds.andquot;I think the blues will always be around,andquot; says legendary blues guitarist Johnny Winter, who will be performing as part of the Johnny Winter Band and headlining the Rock'n'Blues Fest tour. andquot;People need it.andquot;

As the story goes, five decades ago at the age of 17, Johnny went to see B.B. King in his home state of Texas, and requested a turn at the mic. King eventually gave in and handed his guitar to Johnny, who ended up getting a standing ovation for his performance. Needless to say, it wouldn't be long before Johnny had his own legion of followers.

In 1968, Johnny released his first solo album, The Progressive Blues Experiment, and the music world took notice. Twenty years and several successful solo albums later, he was inducted into the Blues Foundation Hall of Fame. In the late 70's, he collaborated with another blues legend, Muddy Waters, on three separate albums of Waters', including the Grammy-winning Hard Again (1977). Over the years, he put out approximately two dozen solo albums. In 2003, he was named as one of Rolling Stone magazine's 100 Greatest Guitarists of All Time, and currently remains one of the top andquot;old schoolandquot; blues guitarists still touring.

Joining Johnny for the Rock'n'Blues Fest andquot;rideandquot; will be his younger brother, Edgar Winter, who has certainly met with considerable acclaim in his own right with such monster hits as andquot;Free Rideandquot; and the chart-topping rocker, andquot;Frankenstein.andquot;andquot; As far as I'm concerned, blues and jazz are the great American contributions to music, andquot; comments Edgar, who will be bringing the Edgar Winter Band along for the almost two-month trek.

A multi-instrumentalist (keyboards/sax/percussion) whose music encompasses many different genres including rock, blues, jazz and pop, Edgar first hit the national spotlight with his early recording of andquot;Tobacco Road, andquot; featured on his 1970 debut album, Entrance. Edgar would soon form the band White Trash and release two hit albums in '71 and '72 titled, Edgar Winter's White Trash and Roadwork. Hot on the heels of the certified gold album, Roadwork, Edgar would put together an entirely new outfit called The Edgar Winter Group that would originally feature guitarist Ronnie Montrose. The band's first effort, They Only Come Out at Night, would spawn both the hit singles, andquot;Free Rideandquot; and andquot;Frankenstein, andquot; and remain on the charts for an incredible 80 consecutive weeks. The pivotal album would eventually reach double-platinum status, selling more than 2 million copies. More recently, Edgar achieved chart success in 2003 with the song, andquot;Dying To Liveandquot; -- featured as andquot;Runninandquot; (Dying to Live) in the film Tupac Resurrection -- as the Eminem-produced song hit #5 on the Billboard Hot Randamp;B/Hip Hop Singles sales chart. With over 20 albums and numerous collaborative efforts to his credit, Edgar Winter has not been satisfied to ride the wave of popular music stardom. His music has been featured in several major national television and radio and advertising campaigns. In addition, his music can be heard in no fewer than fifteen film and television projects.

Next on the bill is rock guitarist Rick Derringer, who's had an illustrious career as both a solo artist and critical band member.

Air guitarists will surely be out in force when Rick breaks into his well-known rock anthem, andquot;Rock and Roll, Hoochie Koo.andquot; The song continues to be a staple on rock radio and was featured in several movies including The Spirit of '76, Rush, Stag, What A Girl Wants and the cult classic, Dazed and Confused. It's a little known fact that years before his success as a solo artist, Rick had a band at the age of 17 called The McCoys that had a #1 hit in 1965 called, andquot;Hang on Sloopy.andquot; The song would eventually be knocked out of the top spot by The Beatles' andquot;Yesterday.andquot; A year after its release, The McCoys would find themselves as the openers for the entire Rolling Stones American tour. Although written and recorded a few years earlier, Rick released his most famous version of the song in 1974 and never looked back... In 1977, he would appear on the last Led Zeppelin North American Tour. In the years to follow, Rick would perform with such artists as Alice Cooper (andquot;Under My Wheelsandquot;), Steely Dan (andquot;Show Biz Kidsandquot; and andquot;Chained Lightningandquot;), KISS, Todd Rundgren and Weird Al Yankovic among others including both Johnny and Edgar Winter.

From 1986 to 1992, Rick would tour with Cindy Lauper and co-write a song from her True Colors album titled, andquot;Calm Inside The Storm.andquot; Before embarking on last year's Hippiefest tour, Rick toured Europe with Ringo Starr as a member of Ringo's All-Starr Band.

Although perhaps best known as a founding member of the band Mountain, guitarist Leslie West began his musical career with an Randamp;B/Blue-eyed soul rock outfit called The Vagrants, who would quickly enjoy a few hits. Shortly after the formation of Mountain with bass guitarist/producer Felix Pappalardi, keyboardist Steve Knight and drummer N.D. Smart in 1969, the band would find themselves performing on day two of the legendary Woodstock festival in August of that year. Not too long after the event, new drummer Corky Laing would join the fold and the band would release their first Billboard Top 40 single, andquot;Mississippi Queen.andquot; The rest is rock history as the song would be played on rock radio for years to come. Mountain would follow-up that hit with the Jack Bruce-penned, andquot;Theme for an Imaginary Western, andquot; one of the eleven songs they performed at Woodstock. Considered one of the pioneers of heavy metal, Rolling Stone magazine once identified them as a andquot;louder version of Cream.andquot; In the early seventies, Mountain would temporarily disband with Leslie and Corky collaborating with Creem bassist Jack Bruce for a cutting-edge group called West, Bruce and Laing. In 1976, West would play guitar for the track, andquot;Bo Diddley Jamandquot; on Diddley's 20th Anniversary of Rock'n'Roll all-star album. In 2005, he contributed to Ozzy Osbourne's Under Cover album, performing guitar on a remake of andquot;Mississippi Queen.andquot; The following year, he immersed himself in the blues, once again, with his latest solo album titled, Blue Me, on the Blues Bureau International label. Later that year (2006), he would be honored by being inducted into the Long Island Music Hall of Fame. In addition to fronting Mountain, Leslie continues to record and perform on his own.

Considered one of the architects of British blues, Kim Simmonds began performing professionally in London in the mid-60's after learning how to play guitar by listening to his brother's blues records as a teenager. As leader and founder of the legendary blues rock band, Savoy Brown, he has 49 album releases currently available and continues to tour all over the world with the band as well as a solo acoustic act. In 1967, the band would help propel the UK blues boom movement that brought blues music back to the United States, invigorating the style forever. In the process, Savoy Brown became part of the framework that launched the rock and roll music of the 1970's, with their vast influence stretching into modern rock as we know it today. In 2011, the band celebrated its 45th anniversary by releasing a new CD titled, Voodoo Moon. Later in the year, Kim would release his most recent effort, Out Of The Blue, a collection of varied material that placed him in a new setting as both singer and songwriter. Among the most loved, most respected and longest running of its genre, Savoy Brown is one of the magical names in blues rock. Kim Simmonds will be performing the best of the best at this year's Rock'n'Blues Fest.

Due to their close involvement with each other throughout their careers, it's likely that various artists on the forthcoming Rock'n'Blues Fest will unite on stage to perform some unexpected classic songs together.

One can only hope.

Five great musicians . . . one incredible tour of rock and blues music.

Who said, andquot; There ain't no cure for the summertime blues?andquot;</grove:bio>

<grove:bio>Italian singer Patrizio Buanne makes his City National Grove of Anaheim debut on Friday, August 24 in support of his first U.S. album release, PATRIZIO.

For Patrizio Buanne, it is all about the voice, and an instinctive ability to convey real emotion. International superstar Patrizio Buanne is taking America by storm with his seductive 'Julio Iglesias-meets-Dean Martin' mixture of ballads and bravado. On his latest release PATRIZIO and current U.S. tour, he's delivering entertainment with a romantic backdrop. In fact, The Boston Globe, in a Critic's Pick of the Day, said, "Think Tom Jones, Italian style" Time Out NY commented, "You'll feel like you're in a Scorsese movie." The dark, ruggedly handsome Italian crooner has already won over a legion of fans with two previous albums rooted in the pop traditions of his Italian homeland that he released internationally.

Having sold over one million albums worldwide, and already making a mark on the UK album charts with his first two albums, Buanne makes it a point for PATRIZIO to feature not only new songs written specifically for him but also song from the Great American Songbook. "I'm not just an Italian guy singing Italian songs. It's important to give people the kind of music I am known for, but I also wanted to open myself up artistically and give them something else or rather something "more of me" that's why we called the album PATRIZIO. I wanted to present my passion for interpreting any great song-no matter if Italian, American or New. I basically did the same as Elton John, George Michael or Tom Jones. I'm searching for that same, timeless quality. If I sing a standard, I pick a song where the words really mean something. It's important to convey the sentiments in a credible way. An old song has to translate into the 21st century," Buanne says.

Buanne accomplishes a beautifully international slant on his natural way with song with PATRIZIO which heralds a new era for the young Neapolitan.</grove:bio>

<grove:bio>After one packed-to-the-rafters gig on North American soil held in Los Angeles this past January, Europe's most notorious and revered symphonic metallers Nightwish will return to the U.S. for a full tour with a stop at City National Grove of Anaheim on Friday, October 5. The band will support the recently released and majestic Imaginaerum. Kamelot will provide direct support.

The cinematic storytelling, symphonic flourishes, shredding guitar work and chugging rhythms mastered by Nightwish across their expansive and impressive career has ensured the hugely influential band a place in the heavy metal pantheon that is unique and unrivaled in the field.

Nightwish have sold more than 7 million albums worldwide and continues to expand the breadth and scope of their artistic vision with each successive release. The keyboard driven compositions from bandleader Tuomas Holopainen surpass that of some of the most brilliant film scores and work brilliantly alongside the engagingly transcendent voice of singer Anette Olzon. It made perfect evolutionary sense when the Finnish band's seventh studio album, Imaginaerum, arrived with a visual counterpart in the form of an album length movie.

Imaginaerum is a concept album which paints a vivid picture through diverse and distinct chapters like the catchy "Ghost River," the heavy handed "Rest Calm," the ballad "Turn Loose the Mermaids" and the super accessible "The Crow, the Owl and the Dove," which was co-written by Hietala. The fourteen-minute "Song of Myself" is inspired by the poem of the same name from Walt Whitman, complete with a recitation of the poem itself in the song. "Last Ride of the Day" ties directly to the roller coaster that is included in the cover art.

Nightwish celebrated their fifteenth anniversary as a band around the same time of the new album's release. Through the years, their mesmerizing blend of darkness, heaviness and engaging melodies has evolved and endured like few other bands. "The key to everything is not to think too much, not to calculate in advance, but just let the mind flow," Holopainen says. He insists that honesty, integrity and a straightforward approach to their craft is at the heart of the group's hard won longevity and continuing success. </grove:bio>
