City National Grove of Anaheim’s Drive-In OC series fills September with live concerts and just announced Fortunate Youth for two shows on Friday, September 25th and Saturday, September 26th. One ticket per vehicle, each passenger must have a safety belt. Support includes The Expanders (Sept 25) and Arise Roots (Sept 26).
American reggae-rock sextet Fortunate Youth hails from Hermosa Beach, California. Its current lineup consists of Dan Kelly (vocals), Travis "Travi Bongo" Walpole (percussion), Jered Draskovich (keys/bass), Greg Gelb (bass, guitar), Corey Draskovich (bass, guitar, keys), and Revelation Kalauli (drums). The band has incorporated a wide variety of influences, including blues, ska, rock, and punk into their sound, and cite acts such as Bob Marley, Katchafire, Van Morrison, and The Grateful Dead as various influences. The lineup has no set designated musician, and all members rotate positions within the band during live performances.
